In happy news, I've gotten into a heap of new shows since my last update, including Doctor Who, Torchwood (see icon), The Big Bang Theory, Battlestar Galactica, and Would I Lie to You?

Dexter, House M.D and The Big Bang Theory have started their new seasons. Dexter is awesome so far, The Big Bang Theory is about as funny as it was before, and House is interesting, except the pairing makes me want to gouge out my eyes.

I like discussing my favourite shows and fandom in general.  If you like any of these, talk to me about them! :)

Here's a clip of Torchwood bloopers.  They make me lol so hard.  No spoilers that I can think of.
Adding to my Cillian Murphy tally, I watched Sunshine yesterday.

I thought it would be a bit ridiculous, considering the premise is that the sun is dying (and just fading out instead of expanding into a red giant and enveloping the Earth) and some astronauts are delivering a payload to give it a kickstart

But it is awesome! :D

It also has Chris Evans and Mark Strong :)

The soundtrack is amazing. And there's no nonsense Unnecessary-Romantic-Subplot-We-Inserted-For-The-Hell-Of-It-Because-It's-Expected, which I found really refreshing.

In other news, it's quite cold today.

I also watched Less Than Zero, which was... alright. Except for RDJ who was amazing like in every movie I've ever seen him in, ever.

I have not updated in for fucking ever. I also have a new obsession interest.

In under two weeks I have watched:
  • Batman Begins
  • The Dark Knight
  • Red Eye
  • Breakfast on Pluto, and
  • 28 Days Later
What do all of these films have in common?

Yeah.  He's kind of amazing.  Including when he's a she.

I will be going to the US during the holidays, exciting :)  Also England for about a week.  It means I'll miss Terracon and it will take up pretty much the whole holiday.  But...  Overseas! :D :D :D

I'm going to try to update more.  I may even get around to reading my flist one of these days :P

Also, I have a job. I'm a Bunnings checkout chick now. It's pretty good (but don't call us Staff; we're 'Team Members').

Catch ya.

It was the Cameron Hall charity vigil last night/this morning and I was in charge of UniSFA's screening. I chose vampires as the theme, and we watched a heap of movies (Bram Stoker's Dracula, Let the Right One In, Blade, Interview with the Vampire, From Dusk till Dawn & The Lost Boys) and a few Buffy episodes (The Zeppo; Hush; Buffy vs Dracula & Once More, With Feeling!). People seemed to enjoy it - at least I hope they did. I got home around 10 this morning, had a shower and eventually managed to get a few hours sleep. I'm now still tired but probably won't be able to get to sleep again for a while.

Panto seems to be getting there, though we need to get started on the song and dance soon. We're starting filming for videos tomorrow. Check out the Facebook event.

I have many assignments.

Cast of 46. Not including Lachlan and I. Breathe, Sal. Breathe.

On an unrelated note, if any UniSFAns have any suggestions for the charity vigil, I'm completely open to suggestion.

To do:

  1. Your momma.
  2. Book Bradley Theatre for rehearsals. Sort of.  Waiting for confirmation.
  3. Wait for catering to tell me if we can use Sue Boyd/May Tannock for auditions.
    1.  Inform producers of location if/when this is confirmed for posters.
  4. Panto Zombie Writers' meeting.
    1. Now on Sunday.
After semester and/or auditions are underway:
  1. Figure out rehearsal schedule.
  2. Confirm/request people to do sound/lighting.
  3. Direct a play.
  4. Start thinking about music.
    1. Thriller.
    2. Elevator music.
    3. Scene change/intermission.
  5. ???
  6. PROFIT!
Does anyone know if there's going to be a Panto handover thing?
