GUESS WHO WON ARTS FEST?!   GO ON, GUESS!

THAT'S RIGHT, FITZROY! YA RLY!

Order: F G D B.  [I think? Not sure, I only pay attention to where we come]
GFJ to Nat and [info]busy_lizzy!!!!!!        *Is living vicariously through their win.*

I still maintain that we were gipped on Group Dance, but no matter.

I was a naughty girl and wagged Uni for Arts Fest.  I also had my weekly french test today.  Oops...?  I made it to my English lecture though (completely soaking. Thanks ever so much to the downpour at the exact moment I get off the bus and have to walk across campus to lecture theatre D< ) And English tutorial where the guy let us finish earlier than we're meant to.  Augh I have so many assignments to do during the study break.  And crap fricken IRIS.

ALSO: 'What I've Done,' Linkin Park's new single.  God finally.  I haven't decided what I think of it yet though.

Well it's been a while since my last proper update.  Oops.

TER crap )

Enough of that.

Christmas was good.  Family, friends etc.  Got some good presents; a Starbucks mug for the Americanised Sal from the people staying with us.  Clothes, and some other tidbits from parents (and they'd payed for my BDO ticket) and CDs from cousins and [info]_elrond_.

I read Hannibal Rising yesterday - which I'd bought for Mum but managed to read before she'd finished, in less than two days I might add.  Ha - and it's awesome.  I'll now have to read the rest of the tetralogy - I'm a bad girl, reading them out of order (even though the book is first in terms of chronology).  It also made me watch Silence of the Lambs again, renewing my absolute, undying love for Anthony Hopkins.  He is the most awesomely awesomest person who ever was awesome - and so creepy when he wants to be.
"I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner. Bye."   lkfnikjhnirutjfkgbhfuiobuytrekajflksj;bmnbvcx

Other things I like at the moment include the Sci-Fi channel on Foxtel.  I'm watching Buffy* from the start. As in, season one.  LMFAO.  It's so funny!  The clothes! The dialogue! And saddened as I am to say it, the acting OMFG!  I love it though.  Angel lurking in the shadows, 'oh woe is me,' never cracking a smile. Spike 'evil'... Willow with long hair (and straight) and my favouritest wolfie ever: Oz!!!  My how things change.  I missed Dru, yay for Dru.
*Buffy? "Sci-Fi?" ...I guess...  Meh, whatever.

Other goodness:  The Ashes.  Nuff said.  Australia pwns.  For those wondering why I'm mentioning this again remember who was so sad that she was watching the Ashes on leavers'.  Oh yeah.  Plus they're still flogging them in the 20 over game.  Phenomenal.

Non-good things:  I still haven't got a job.  I haven't even really looked.  Neither have I got my Ls.  There is no excuse, I am just a lazy bugger.

Oh well.  I've enjoyed doing absolutely nothing. XP   I did see Bond which greatly exceeded expectation as I wasn't really a Bond fan to begin with, and Happy Feet.  I don't know how I felt about that.  Kind of depressing throughout and then a bit of a cliche, fairy-tale ending.  Funny though, with heaps of Aussie voices who I love.  And Elijah, and Robin, yay!

I think I'd better stop before I write a novel.  Knowing me I've left heaps out, but that's probably for the best.   This is why I should update more often; I just do these gigantic posts nowadays, augh.

PS:  Fuck you, spell-check!  "Neighbour" and "favourite" each have a U, God-damnit! STFU

Well. I guess I've graduated. We had our speech night and afterward I cried like a loser. Though you have to admit, being at SHAGS for twelve years is a looooong time. Over half my life. And now it's over and if I get into uni, that means I'll be going to school with *LE GASP!* BOYS! (lol). I'm pleased about it all yet at the same time really really sad.

When Tina went and got her prize for dux she did the funniest nod to us. It's just so like her. Apparently Stanners told her to acknowledge us in some way or something.

That's the last time I'll say the school prayer that Mrs Miller and Mrs Brian made us learn off by heart in year five. The last time I sing 'Lord Dismiss Us,' though I'm totally going to continue to sing the school hymn at home. [The faithful few fought bravely. Alliteration FTW!]

Now we have a few lovely weeks to stress about TEE results. Plus have I mentioned I need a job? Augh. I'm annoyed at myself; I still haven't gone to see-SAW (lol, as always) III yet. Perhaps I'll just wait until the DVD.
On a completely different note, WHY IS IT TAKING LP SO LONG TO RELEASE THEIR NEXT ALBUM!?!?! It was meant to be out at the end of this year, but has been postponed to next year. I hope it isn't too gangstizzle... I'm sure it'll be good, but I'm getting nervous!

PS: People who read my section in the Chronicle, I wasn't trying to burn down the school in year three. I was just trying to burn a little hole in a piece of paper with a magnifying glass. Completely harmless.

If for some reason I don't see anyone, though I don't know how I wouldn't,

HEAPS OF GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR EXAMS!!!!

Double luck to those who have their applic TEE tomorrow (ie, ME)

Triple luck to those who have their applic AND drama studies tomorrow, then physics on Tuesday (ie, ME!)

Just infinite luck to me, actually...

Hopefully you all haven't been like I have - doing shit-all in terms of study, and instead watching YouTube GooTube and chatting on MSN. Seriously, I studied harder for year 11 end-of-year exams.  YA RLY.

ONLY TWO WEEKS TO GO!!!!  (Except Alex who has Jap the following week, frown.)  SAW III, here I come!  Then LEAVERS.

Also:  If anyone sees me on msn and I'm talking to you, tell me to STOP AND STUDY.

Mocks = Blah.

Biology: Pretty good except for the loooooong "short answer" section, which ultimately affected hw much time I had to write extended answers - try doing four in thirty minutes. XP

Lit: Not great, but not slit-my-wrists crap, except for my Frankenstein essay.  Medea was surprisingly better than the poetry one, I feel.

Discrete: Could have been better.  The questions were okay, but I wasn't.  I think there'll be a high average.  Boo.

Applic:  !$#%^&*(&^%$#!@~ BAD.  Thend.

Drama: Pretty bad.  I don't think I answered the questions very well.  Essays = major suckage.

Physics:  Crap, but less crap than I thought it would be considering I didn't study at all, and had lost some applets/notes from my calculator. Hopefully a pass - which is all I'm asking for.  (For those who don't know, my school average is about 56%  Uh oh spaghetti-Os.  Hence, I don't think I'll be counting it!

Physics prac:  Pretty good, though I didn't have time to draw the graph and my Young's Modulus turned out to be x10^6 as opposed to around  x10^11, whoops?  At least I got full marks on what they had to mark then and there.  So there are four marks guaranteed.  : )

I'm pissed about Applic though, which I was planning on counting.

My first TEE Exam is this morning, and I am freaking out.  My feet are sweating o.0 wtf?  However, no other part is...  That's weird.  Well, I'll edit this later when it's over.  I hope I don't start shaking or do anything stupid.  I'm really worried for the improvisation and the interview.
qmDSFH*&^%$Gw;jiurtFGHh 54URthpWr^%$#ieunsd89ut08ij)(*&^%$#!ewhn!!!!!!eleventy!!!one!!!!!1111``

Edit:  Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuughfzshizzlejizzle.

Bad bad BAD.

Okay, It wasn't horrible, but it definitely wasn't great either.  I'm disappointed because know I can/have done it better.  Well, it's in the past, I am repressing it in my memory.  My improv didn't completely suck - I had to be one of the trapeez artists at the Cirque Du Soleil, who has been appointed to show around my OOPS character, Pat.  My interview = suckage.  Apart from one bit that I hope think impressed them, in which I refered to the influence of second-wave feminism.

All in all:  Meh.

*Wishes that she still had Suicidal!Constantine icon, but will settle for Shithole!Saw instead*

Well, my reign of terror time as an official is pretty much over, as the new ones were announced today.  Fitzroy dominated, as per usual, with four out of the seven school officials from our house.  Next year is going to be so good, I can tell.  Liz and Nat will do better than us  a great job =) They're the new Fitzroy Arts Captains.   I'm going to come to every event that I can next year, so long as Mrs Mac tells me when they are.  I'm quite tired today, as I had to get up 20 minutes early to get flowers for Nat and Liz, only to be told that Mrs Mac ordered flowers - when she knew I was getting some!  Grrr...  This year has gone so fast.  In other news, I got colours for drama.  Like, whoa.  Why when I get awards do they go in weird order?  Observe:  Never got a blue bar, got three gold bars (two for the same thing - house service - which I thought was a cumulative thing) one band twice, never got two bands, and now colours.  It's weird...  As is house officials not being able to get house service awards!  - The hell?!  Well, I'm sure I'll enjoy my colours for the week I have left at school, heh.

First TEE exam: Friday week.  (HELP!)
