Whoooooooooooo!

The Big Day Out/MCR was so fun! )

Hey, it was over eight hours. I got bored!

No pics of the actual band, though, since they were confiscating any camera they saw and I didn't want my phone taken away. D:

Guitarist Ray was God though. I don't know much about guitar or anything but even I can see that he has some major talent.

We waited a while outside for them but they all just piled into cars and drove away, which was kind of anti-climatic. Probably since Gerard was sick - he just literally flopped into the car. (He thought we wouldn't recognise himm with the aviators and hoodie on, fool!) I feel sorry for him. And of course admiration since the performance was so amazing despite poor health.
All in all, great show!! Sorry to everyone who doesn't like them and/or doesn't really care.

I'll stop my MCR rants now, *promise!

*I promise nothing.

Well it's been a while since my last proper update.  Oops.

TER crap )

Enough of that.

Christmas was good.  Family, friends etc.  Got some good presents; a Starbucks mug for the Americanised Sal from the people staying with us.  Clothes, and some other tidbits from parents (and they'd payed for my BDO ticket) and CDs from cousins and [info]_elrond_.

I read Hannibal Rising yesterday - which I'd bought for Mum but managed to read before she'd finished, in less than two days I might add.  Ha - and it's awesome.  I'll now have to read the rest of the tetralogy - I'm a bad girl, reading them out of order (even though the book is first in terms of chronology).  It also made me watch Silence of the Lambs again, renewing my absolute, undying love for Anthony Hopkins.  He is the most awesomely awesomest person who ever was awesome - and so creepy when he wants to be.
"I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner. Bye."   lkfnikjhnirutjfkgbhfuiobuytrekajflksj;bmnbvcx

Other things I like at the moment include the Sci-Fi channel on Foxtel.  I'm watching Buffy* from the start. As in, season one.  LMFAO.  It's so funny!  The clothes! The dialogue! And saddened as I am to say it, the acting OMFG!  I love it though.  Angel lurking in the shadows, 'oh woe is me,' never cracking a smile. Spike 'evil'... Willow with long hair (and straight) and my favouritest wolfie ever: Oz!!!  My how things change.  I missed Dru, yay for Dru.
*Buffy? "Sci-Fi?" ...I guess...  Meh, whatever.

Other goodness:  The Ashes.  Nuff said.  Australia pwns.  For those wondering why I'm mentioning this again remember who was so sad that she was watching the Ashes on leavers'.  Oh yeah.  Plus they're still flogging them in the 20 over game.  Phenomenal.

Non-good things:  I still haven't got a job.  I haven't even really looked.  Neither have I got my Ls.  There is no excuse, I am just a lazy bugger.

Oh well.  I've enjoyed doing absolutely nothing. XP   I did see Bond which greatly exceeded expectation as I wasn't really a Bond fan to begin with, and Happy Feet.  I don't know how I felt about that.  Kind of depressing throughout and then a bit of a cliche, fairy-tale ending.  Funny though, with heaps of Aussie voices who I love.  And Elijah, and Robin, yay!

I think I'd better stop before I write a novel.  Knowing me I've left heaps out, but that's probably for the best.   This is why I should update more often; I just do these gigantic posts nowadays, augh.

PS:  Fuck you, spell-check!  "Neighbour" and "favourite" each have a U, God-damnit! STFU

.

Mocks = Blah.

Biology: Pretty good except for the loooooong "short answer" section, which ultimately affected hw much time I had to write extended answers - try doing four in thirty minutes. XP

Lit: Not great, but not slit-my-wrists crap, except for my Frankenstein essay.  Medea was surprisingly better than the poetry one, I feel.

Discrete: Could have been better.  The questions were okay, but I wasn't.  I think there'll be a high average.  Boo.

Applic:  !$#%^&*(&^%$#!@~ BAD.  Thend.

Drama: Pretty bad.  I don't think I answered the questions very well.  Essays = major suckage.

Physics:  Crap, but less crap than I thought it would be considering I didn't study at all, and had lost some applets/notes from my calculator. Hopefully a pass - which is all I'm asking for.  (For those who don't know, my school average is about 56%  Uh oh spaghetti-Os.  Hence, I don't think I'll be counting it!

Physics prac:  Pretty good, though I didn't have time to draw the graph and my Young's Modulus turned out to be x10^6 as opposed to around  x10^11, whoops?  At least I got full marks on what they had to mark then and there.  So there are four marks guaranteed.  : )

I'm pissed about Applic though, which I was planning on counting.
